 MySpace History

 

   MySpace a social network website was started in 2003 by a group of programmer's soon rose in growth and became one of the most popular social network website.

 

The original idea of creating MySpace came from Friendster. They saw the potential of social website and started their own social media known as “MySpace”.

 

The features of MySpace are mostly borrowed from Friendster and MySpace was launched in August 2003.The initial members of MySpace are eUniverse employees.

 

  MySpace was acquired by Rupert Murdoch's News corp. in July 2005.The employees of MySpace are only about 300 and MySpace gains 200,000 new users every day. MySpace has over 100 million users worldwide using it.
